My husband and I have been surviving and thriving (on most days) with my twin boys for just over two years now. Additionally, I’ve been working on my MBA at Babson College while working full-time as a marketing director. It’s been a busy few years for sure! Starting in April 2010, I began a new journey when I chose not to relocate with my corporate job; now I am staying home with my boys full-time and will be wrapping up my studies in June.
My husband and I live in Massachusetts with our boys, our pug (Murphy) and our two cats (Harley and Maggie). Yes, the house is a zoo most days. I have been saying that we should start video-taping so we could win America’s Funniest Home Videos. With twin boys and a pug, I figured we’d be a shoe-in….kids and pugs ALWAYS win! Well, since I can’t seem to move fast enough to get the video camera when needed and really don’t want to set up motion-sensored cameras around the house, I thought I’d capture some of the insanity and hilarity through a blog. I’d also like to pass along my lessons learned on parenting twins. If it takes a village to raise a child, then it takes a metropolis to raise twins–and we need all the help we can get.
I also have created a community around parenting twins at twinthing.ning.com. I would love to get the conversation going whether through that forum or through comments around my blog. Looking forward to meeting you!
