Has anyone else read the book, “The Happiest Toddler on the Block” by Dr. Harvey Karp? It’s a little corny I admit, and I don’t go to some of the extremes he suggests in terms of how to talk to your child, but I credit some of his techniques for sure! Jake and Cody have had very few tantrums, and no “fall on the floor screaming” tantrums just yet (at 27 months). I’m sure they’re just around the corner, but in the meantime I’ll give a little of the credit to Dr. Karp (that way he can also take the blame when they start acting up and out).
